Hey everyone, it's been a long time. I keep trying to come back and post art, but I swear, like 80% of DA these days is overrun by "AI Art". I've used Bing Image Creator before and while it is fun to mess with, and I mainly use it for Concepts. I still do EVERYTHING by hand, I'll never in a million years, generate an image and say "HEY LOOK WHAT I DREW!" Cause I recently saw some Deviants doing Just that, and then CHARGING FOR ALTERED PICS! Like at this point this is a just a scam. So if anyone was curious what my stance on AI Art is, it's this. "I Believe AI Image Generation can be a great tool for figuring out your own creative works, as a tool and reference. It should NEVER Be used as a completed piece and/or for monetary gain. It's dishonest and completely undermines the values of what being an ARTIST means. Someone who has spent years of their life, learning about the fundementals of art, drawing what they like, creating either a take on our world through their eyes, or creating new worlds from our imagination and crafting stories through art. If you just type "Anthropomorphic Deer Bartender woman, wearing navy pinstripe pants, a blouse, button up vest, cleaning a shot glass with amber lighting, thicc, Stylized, leaning on a brunswick bar, looking at the camera with a sultry look, older woman, long hair, covering one eye, cartoony style" Generate it then post it and say [I Made this] then you are not an artist, you're just guy letting a computer do all the "work". It's fine if you take that prompt, and generated image and use it to make your OWN art, like, sketching it out, taking notes, drawing your own form, making your own tweaks and applying the creativity inside your head and translating it into an original piece. That's much more prefered and impressive if you ask me. Okay enough Rambling about AI images. If you've been curious where the heck I've been. Hello! It's been a long time since I last did a journal entry here. I hope you all are okay, and that both your Christmas and New Years were good! So what's up with me? Well, I don't wanna go too into my personal life. However, I will say that I still don't have a job, and my only source of income are my online stores, and support from my viewers on Patreon! Which a link to all 4 options will be listed on the bottom if you want something cool from myself :3. But let me say thank you to anyone who even remotely remembers me and I feel bad I haven't been as active as I used to be on DeviantART. Ever since they changed their layout I've had less of a desire to do stuff here, but I do want to be a little more active. Because, even though I don't post as much as I used to, but I still do art related things. So I'm gonna at least Try to be a little more active here. However my YouTube channel has been steadily growing and last year I got a 1000 subscribers! Which is Huge in itself, but if I managed to get the 4,000 watch hours I can make Youtube my Job. Which would be really good as someone with no job, and I'd actually have fun with my work. But I do want to do bigger things like... maybe make a game? I'm not 100% sure, but I do wanna give my OC/Mascot, Arrow; a chance to shine and show what she can do.
